Once in a Life Time

The Khor Virap is a monastery located 30 km far from Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and near the border with Turkey. A chapel was initially built in 642 AD at the site of Kirat Virap and over the centuries it was repeatedly rebuilt. This ashtonishing view is potentiated by the Great Ararat Mount (one of the 2 volcanic cones) with an elevation of 5,137 meters and 40 km in diameter the whole Ararat massif. One sensational place more on the travelling wish list to visit at least Once in a Life Time!!

Erta Ale, or 'smoking mountain', is an active volcano in the Afar region of Ethiopia. The volcano is surrounded by an area below the sea level, and not much more is known as the area is one of the most inhospitable on earth! If once in your life to plan to visit it, bring one or two armed guards or police, as per the recommendations of the local people. Natural coloured beauty for a Monday, like and share! :)

Sagano bamboo garderns, Arashiyama mountains, Japan. One of the most spectacular gardens in Japan, it is located close to Kyoto and it contains more than 50 different ranges of bamboo trees. You can discover it by walking or cycling, during the day or even at night, as it is open 24 hours. What a place to relax and enjoy nature!! We want to visit this in 2013!!! Click & share :)

Raja Ampat, or the Four Kings, Indonesia. Archipelago comprising over 1,500 small islands, cays, and shoals. It is located off the northwest tip of Bird's Head Peninsula on the island of New Guinea, in Indonesia's West Papua province. One of the most amazing diving spots you´ll ever find in your life.
