4 months of brutal low season losses: Net. AED 185k ($50.4k) πΈ gone.
Everyone tells you to βbe prepared for low season.β Well, let me tell you - nobody is really prepared for this kind of hit. You estimate the losses, you plan for it, and then it comes and hits you twice as hard as you thought.π€¦ββοΈ
The crazy part? Your occupancy doesnβt even drop. Youβre working just as hard, guests keep coming, but somehow youβre still losing money. A LOT of money. And on top of that? Non-stop complaints, ACs breaking down from the insane heat, maintenance issues everywhere, and your best employees deciding to quit right in the middle of the biggest chaos. Dubaiβs low season is absolutely brutal π€
But hereβs where it gets good π
October hit. High season started. And in ONE SINGLE MONTH we made back everything we lost in 4 months - and then some.
October numbers:
Gross revenue: AED 770k ($209.7k)
After all costs: AED 204k ($55.6k) pure profit
Four months of pain, erased in 30 days π
And this? This is just the beginning. November is looking even better. December will be insane. The comeback is always stronger than the setback πͺ

Instagram vs Reality πΈππ―
What you see: Beach vibes, family time, business on autopilot ποΈβ¨
The reality: Staff on holiday, maintenance nightmares, reviews tanking π
Our summer disaster:
β’ Review score: 4.88 β‘οΈ 4.84
β’ Short staffed = chaos
β’ Family holiday interrupted
β’ Had to jump back into daily ops
Lesson learned: Thereβs no autopilot in this business! πͺ
Action taken:
β’ Fixed all issues
β’ Back to 4.85 already π
β’ Goal: 4.9 by end of high season
Real talk: Instagram shows highlights, not the 3AM problem-solving calls π±
