With the aim of giving entrepreneurs a platform to present their ideas and projects, Dubai Design Week’s Marketplace featured 10 emerging Emirati brands supported by Dubai Culture across various categories. The Marketplace highlighted the diversity of their work and underscored Dubai Culture’s commitment to building a sustainable and creative ecosystem that supports the local community and empowers them to transform ideas into successful ventures.

يهدف سوق أسبوع دبي للتصميم إلى توفير منصة لروّاد الأعمال لعرض أفكارهم ومشاريعهم، وقد استضاف السوق 10 علامات تجارية إماراتية صاعدة مدعومة من دبي للثقافة عبر فئات مختلفة. وقد سلّط سوق اسبوع دبي للتصميم الضوء على تنوّع أعمال هذه العلامات وأكّد على حرص دبي للثقافة ببناء منظومة إبداعية ومستدامة تدعم المجتمع المحلي وتمكّنه من تحويل الأفكار إلى مشاريع ناجحة.

Woven Conversations by Ajzal Studio at Dubai Design Week reimagined the Emirati majlis, reviving heritage and culture through ten elements of Emirati tradition, reinterpreted in a modern design language. Over the week, the space fostered meaningful conversations, connection and shared experiences.
"أحاديث منسوجة" لاستوديو 'اجزل' في أسبوع دبي للتصميم أعادت تصور المجلس الإماراتي، وأحيت التراث والثقافة من خلال عشرة عناصر من التقاليد الإماراتية، والتي أُعيد تفسيرها بأسلوب تصميم حديث. على مدار الأسبوع، عززت المساحة الحوارات الهادفة والتواصل والتجارب المشتركة.

A closer look at Urban Commissions at Dubai Design Week 2025.
Responding to the theme ‘Courtyard’, the winning proposal, When Does a Threshold Become a Courtyard?, by UAE-based studio Some Kind of Practice serves as a communal space featuring intimate conversations, culinary workshops, and performances.
Over the next 2 days, the space is set to host a special film screening and hands-on workshops - link in bio to learn more.
في أسبوع دبي للتصميم 2025، يأخذنا مشروع الأشغال المدنية هذا العام إلى تجربة تتجاوز الفكرة التقليدية للفناء.
العمل الفائز بعنوان «متى تتحول المساحة المتنقلة إلى الحوش» من تصميم الاستوديو الإماراتي Some Kind of Practice، يعيد تعريف الفناء كمساحة للتفاعل الإنساني، حيث تلتقي الحوارات والورش والعروض الفنية في أجواء تجمع بين البساطة والدفء.
وخلال اليومين القادمين، تتحوّل المساحة إلى منصة نابضة بالنشاط مع عروض سينمائية وورش عمل تفاعلية يمكنكم استكشافها عبر الرابط في البايو.
