Nepal captured by visitor from UAE...
Nepal – a country often associated with the Himalayas – has a lot more to offer than just the world’s highest peak. Considered to have the world’s densest concentration of World Heritage sites, this landlocked country is also home to a large number of endangered animals. With a population of over 27 million people, 81 per cent of whom follow Hinduism, Nepal has a myriad of customs and ritualistic traditions. Gulf News reader Abrar Mohsin captured the sights and sounds of the country and what it had to offer, in this reader picture essay.
