In Mazar-e-Sharif, National Female UN Volunteers supported the engagement of UNDP Administrator Alexander De Croo and UNHCR High Commissioner with UNDP-supported women-led savings groups, showcasing the impact of women-led initiatives and community-driven development.

What began as work to rebuild a damaged wall led to the discovery of 25 unexploded artillery shells beneath a house in Baghlan. A UNDP-supported demining team safely removed them, protecting 8 workers and 16 family members.
