On World Thalassemia Day, the Afghan Medical Complex by Atta Welfare Foundation stands with thalassemia patients and their families across Afghanistan.
Thalassemia patients rely on regular blood transfusions for survival, yet blood shortages continue to affect many families. We encourage everyone who is eligible to donate blood and help support children fighting this condition every day.

د افغان طبي کمپلکس لپاره یو بله ګټور د ډیزاین د بیاکتنې غونډه ترسره شوه چې پکې ګډون درلود:

غونډه د فضايي پلان د لا ښه کولو او ډیزاین د نړیوالو معیارونو (IHFG) سره د همغږۍ پر څرنګوالي متمرکزه وه.
مهم پړاو: تمه ده چې د مفهومي ډیزاین او ماسټر/سایټ پلان به په راتلونکو ۲–۳ اونیو کې بشپړ شي.
موږ د افغانستان د لومړني سرطان روغتون جوړولو ته نور هم نږدې کېږو چې وړیا او ارزانه د سرطان درملنه به وړاندې کوي.

The session focused on refining spatial planning and aligning the design with international standards (IHFG).
Key milestone: The concept design and master/site plan are expected to be completed within the next 2–3 weeks.
We are moving closer to building Afghanistan’s first oncology hospital providing free to affordable cancer care.

Today we had a productive design meeting for the Afghan Medical Complex with:

• TAHPI Director (Technical Reviewer)
• AMC Project Director
The session focused on design progress, technical alignment and planning in accordance with Afghanistan’s realities.
Each meeting brings us closer to building Afghanistan’s first oncology hospital providing free to affordable cancer care.
