We now have a new version of the sonar in stock - the "Basic 2D-sonar+", featuring an integrated thermal sensor. It's also about 5 dB more powerful than the regular "Basic 2D-sonar"

What is great about working with low-frequency ultrasound is that you can use much simpler and more accessible tools for debugging. The normal smartphone is good for capturing the sound up to 22kHz.
