We are seeking a Junior R&D Software Engineer to join our IoT R&D team. As a Junior R&D Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications for IoT devices, ensuring they are reliable and meet the specifications required by our customers.

❗️Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for IoT devices, specifically on Raspberry Pi single board computers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software applications meet customer requirements
• Test and debug software applications to ensure they are reliable and perform as expected
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Utilize DBus in software development and understand its underlying principles
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IoT industry

❗️Qualifications

• Currently a final year student in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on IoT or embedded systems
• Strong experience with Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in writing code in Python
• Understanding of DBus
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and software design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

📌Nice to Have:

• Experience with Raspberry Pi single board computers
• Experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or Zigbee
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
