The artist of Aleeque 050 is Shant Ko, a person who has made a significant contribution to the development of the Armenian club scene. Besides being an experienced DJ and the founder of The Basement club and a number of other hip entertainment venues, Shant is also a big friend and supporter of Aleeque project․ These are just some of the reasons we want him to be the hero of Aleeque’s 50th anniversary edition.

Ejaz Ahamed from the Middle East, who holds residencies with Trilogy and Pacha IbizaDubai, is the artist of Aleeque 049. Hailing from the southern region of India, his love of house, techno and all things electronic came from his formative youth, with back-street raves and influences like Sven Väth, John Digweed, Sasha and Adam Beyer drawing him into the electronic world. Since then, his credits have gone far beyond, with Ejaz establishing himself as a producer, having become part of the audio family on cult labels like Chronovision Ibiza, Disclosure UK, Wind Horse Records, Soupherb Records & Qilla Records. Aleeque 047 is bringing you ANAMOT, an artist born to Armenian parents away from his homeland and a newcomer to the local scene, who found and discovered his true purpose contributing to the development of the Armenian underground scene.
ANAMOT truly believes that it is only through mutual respect and love, acceptance, and strong support that the Armenian society will be able to recover from the economic, political, and humanitarian issues caused by the pandemic and regional geopolitical clashes. His music is all about unity and solidarity within the Armenian community.
