Armenia National SDG Innovation Lab

The Government of Armenia in close collaboration with the United Nations created National SDG Innovation Lab - an innovation platform to support the UN SDGs implementation at country level. This is the first in a kind innovation model in the world where the National Government and the UN are joining forces to establish a joint platform to support the acceleration and implementation of the SDGs in a country.

The Lab is a space for experimentation, collaboration, analytics and world class human resource development, and is partnering with the leading innovation and technological centers of the world to bring in the best available expertise and experience to Armenia to boost the SDG implementation. The Lab aims to find new approaches, new methodologies and possibly new types of institutions to provide ‘out of the box’ solutions and to remove barriers to growth at all levels of society, from Armenia’s smallest rural communities to its largest government Ministries. Currently, the National SDG Innovation Lab uses Behavioral Science and Data Analytics, looks for innovative financing solutions and conducts Capacity Building workshops to maximise the achievement of #Agenda2030 in Armenia.
