Combining masterful artistry and storytelling with groundbreaking technology, Robert Sahakyants Animation Studio is a filmmaker-driven animation studio responsible for creating a new generation of animated feature films. For over 40 years of existence the group released more than 180 cartoon and puppet films. Located in Yerevan, Armenia Robert Sahakyants Animation Studio continues to build on its rich legacy of innovation and creativity, stretching from the very first films, including cult film “FOX`S BOOK” (1975) to full-length animated film based on the fairy tale of Armenian writer Gh. Aghayan “Anahit”(2014).

Robert Sahakyants (1950-2009), was one of the best directors, animators of the Soviet Union. As an artist, script-writer, animator , director and art- director, he gathered around him a lot of talented and experienced artists, who now continue his work.

The production of the team was rewarded with numerous prizes and awards both in the Soviet Union and abroad.
