Digital Cultural Heritage at the Cyprus Institute: Documenting, Visualizing, Preserving and Disseminating the Remnants of our Past

The seminar will be delivered by Dr. Avgoustinos Avgousti and Professor Nikolas Bakirtzis, who will present how cutting-edge digital technologies are transforming the way we document, study, preserve, and share our cultural heritage.

The presentation will showcase the innovative work of The Cyprus Institute's Andreas Pittas Art Characterization Laboratories (APAC Labs), highlighting interdisciplinary research that combines computer science, archaeology, art history, and advanced analytical methods to better understand and preserve cultural heritage.
