ITALY 🇮🇹
I’ve been blessed to travel to many countries around the world, and to say that Italy, outside of my homeland, feels the most like home would be a massive understatement.
First, the fashion culture 👔
And I’m not speaking about luxury brands or expensive clothes.
I’m talking about walking down the street and seeing everyone from the elderly to the youth dressed with elegance, class, and effort. It genuinely feels like eye candy for the soul.
I could sit at a café, people watch all day, and honestly be more entertained than Netflix 😅
Second, the espresso culture ☕️
Over here, espresso is not just coffee.
It’s an art form.
A ritual.
A moment of connection.
As someone who truly loves espresso and is meticulous about how it’s made and consumed… safe to say I feel right at home here.
Third, despite being large metropolitan cities, Italy somehow keeps a warm family energy.
It never feels too small.
But it also never feels cold or disconnected.
And finally:
“La Dolce Vita.”
The sweet life.
The understanding that slowing down, connecting, eating well, dressing well, and appreciating beauty is not laziness… but part of living a meaningful life.
And I haven’t even started speaking about the food, the art, the history, the nature, or the architecture 🇮🇹
Traveling has taught me that certain places in the world align more naturally with who you are as a person.
And very often… it’s not necessarily the place you were born.
Safe to say my travels are far from over.
But Italy no longer feels like a place I simply want to visit…
It feels like a culture I want to be a part of 🇮🇹
Nobody talk to me about geopolitics when I’m sunbathing 😂☀️🇦🇲
