El Día del Amigo se celebra el 20 de julio en Argentina, Uruguay y Paraguay. La fecha fue elegida por el argentino Enrique Febbraro, quien propuso el 20 de julio como Día del Amigo en 1969, luego del alunizaje del Apolo 11. Febbraro creía que el alunizaje era un momento histórico que simbolizaba la amistad entre los humanos y el universo.

Alan Turing (1912-1954) He envisioned a 'computer' that could solve any problem translated into mathematical expressions to reduce it to a chain of logical operations with binary numbers. He believed that machines could one day become as intelligent as humans, and that they could even surpass human intelligence. He also believed that AI could be used for good, such as solving complex problems and improving our understanding of the world. For this reason, Turing is considered the theoretical father of the computer and the origin of the history of artificial intelligence, especially thanks to the adaptation of a Victorian-style competition called 'the imitation game' that ended up receiving the name of 'the Turing test' to determine if a machine was capable of thinking like a person.
