On Friday 5th and Saturday 6th June at 8pm Berlin time, during the weekly presentation of MY DOCUMENTS | SHARE YOUR SCREEN, the English writer and director Tim Etchells will be presenting OR ALL YOUR CHANGES WILL BE LOST.
In this lecture-performance, Etchells investigates his own physical and digital notebooks, in which he has gathered written materials of different kinds for more than 35 years. In these notebooks he has collected short texts; ideas, notes, lists and phrases of his own invention alongside fragments from overheard conversations, movies, graffiti, newspapers and books. Retrieved from boxes during the corona lockdown the notebooks contain seeds of a thousand narratives, some personal, others linked to political and social events and upheavals, some true imaginary.
Participation in the event takes place via the software Zoom by which the audience can see the performance live, make comments and exchange visions and insights afterwards.
At the same time, the show can also be followed in the livestream.

We are presenting a new and special version of MY DOCUMENTS!
As part of this SHARE YOUR SCREEN edition, on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May at 6pm Berlin time, the Chinese dancer and documentalist Zhang Mengqi shares her diary of the time she was locked in quarantine in Hubei province, as well as her art experiments in her father’s village. Over the past decade she has been part of the Memory Project, creating an archive of interviews with the older generation about their memories of the Great Chinese Famine and she built up a community space called Blue House where she does performances with kids inspired by these and other stories of the village.
