❌ Stop saying “cut” for everything!

These 3 phrasal verbs look similar, but they mean different things:

✂️ CUT BACK
✂️ CUT DOWN
✂️ CUT OUT

Let’s learn them in 45 seconds!

📚 CUT BACK = reduce spending or use
🇪🇸 Reducir gastos o consumo

Example:
💬 We’re trying to cut back on expenses this month.
🇪🇸 Estamos tratando de reducir los gastos este mes.

📚 CUT DOWN (ON) = reduce the amount of something
🇪🇸 Disminuir la cantidad de algo

Example:
💬 I need to cut down on sugar.
🇪🇸 Necesito consumir menos azúcar.

📚 CUT OUT = completely stop doing something
🇪🇸 Dejar de hacer algo por completo

Example:
💬 He cut out junk food last year.
