Huge congratulations to our students Kamilla Huszar, Pia Gober, Ehab Elasam, and Luca Knobloch! Working in different tech areas at our partner Raiffeisen Bank International, they teamed up with two RBI colleagues for the internal "HackAiThon" in Vienna. 🤖💻

Competing against 70 IT professionals from across the CEE region, their team "Chain of Fools" designed solutions for an AI native software development lifecycle. In a public voting by all participants, they took home the most points and won 1st place! Their reward? Epic LEGO sets, a trophy, and eternal glory! 🚀✨

Special thanks to our student Nicol Weghofer for organizing this amazing event. This victory shows how strong our partnership with RBI is and how the skills built through peer-to-peer learning translate directly into industry success. 🦾⌨️

Our students had an amazing time yesterday during a unique Knowledge Sharing session with Nikodemus Wagner, the Software Development Team Lead at the Austrian National Library! Niko took us on a journey through coding history, tracing the line from ancient shelf marks to modern APIs. 🚀📊

We learned that library IT is actually one of the longest running system maintenance projects in human history. Decisions made centuries ago still impact how library data models function today. It was a fantastic lesson for our community on how design choices live on and why understanding legacy structures is so important for a software engineer. 🦾✨

Expanding our horizons through expert talks is what peer-to-peer learning at 42 Vienna is all about. Huge thanks to Niko for sharing his expertise and showing us the fascinating roots of modern data retrieval!
