All happy today. We visited Universal Edition.
In this talk, Andreas Bintinger, Head of Services at the Viennese music publisher Universal Edition, talked about the challenges and opportunities the publishing industry has faced, especially in recent years. He gave us insights into the traditional publishing business, but also into new developments around digitalisation and present new models of cooperation between publishers and composers. Furthermore, he gave composers insights into the demands and opportunities they must face today and provide them guidance for a successful career from a publisher’s point of view.
