This Dragon Scale pattern looks more like Christmas trees, but it's a happy combination 🎄

After scraping and cutting, it's a completely another soap 🤩 Still not the best, but more like some funny marble than dog food 😂

Tiger Leaf - another try in Twisted Leaf Swirl technique for the Soap Challenge Club. This time again the twisting produced a cut in lower part of the soap.

One more one-pot-wonder soap.

Ghost Milk Soap - my entry for the September Soap Challenge Club themed Milk Soaps. For the milk adding method, I used 100% water replacement with rice milk. The soap has no added fragrances and no colourants. The variation in colour and texture comes solely from a different ratio of lye and milk added to the oils. The base soap was made with 1:1 lye to milk ratio. I separated the soap in five equal parts, adding gradually more milk in four parts to get different lye to milk ratio: 1:1.5, 1:2, 1:2.5, 1:3. Adding milk made the soap batter somewhat more liquid, but it also started to heat up and darken. This happened, I guess, because of more caramelization of sugars in milk. New learning: Inverse to the normal ghost soap, where extra water makes the soap more transparent, adding milk makes the soap more brown. I used the one-pot-wonder technique to pour the soap in the mold. Since the soap batter was of different density, it did not pour smoothly to create distinct layers, but still, it got a very nice feathery effect.
