Starting today, TruSat is officially an independent, volunteer-led open-source project. To learn more about TruSat's transition into a fully independent project, read the TruSat Declaration of Independence: https://learn.trusat.org/docs/trusat-independence/
The TruSat community needs your help as we embark on this new chapter! There are three easy ways to get involved:
1. Submit Observations 🛰
2. Contribute Code 💻
3. Support The Community 📄
We invite you to join us and develop TruSat into a valuable tool for preserving the long-term sustainability of spaceflight by visiting https://learn.trusat.org

We’re excited to announce that the TruSat platform is now open to all!
Here are the updates we've made to ease the process of contributing to our space sustainability mission:
1. Anyone can now sign up (https://trusat.org/signup) to be an observer in the system
2. The process of submitting observations is now simpler with this form (https://trusat.org/submit/single).
3. Observers can register multiple station locations for observing, such as your backyard vs. your local park
4. We’ve begun collecting satellite-tracking tutorials in our recently launched Learning Hub (https://learn.trusat.org).
For those of you looking for new ways to spend time at home, we hope you’ll consider contributing to our mission. And if you’re looking to sharpen your coding skills, follow us on Github (https://github.com/trusat) and check out the list of open issues.
