Originally from Germany, Theresia Brennecke completed her graduate studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Bayreuth before moving to Vienna to start her PhD in the Köhler lab in 2025. Her research uses biochemical approaches to uncover how histone-ubiquitination condensates contribute to cellular processes and reveal the mechanisms that shape life at the molecular level. Her journey reflects how science thrives through different perspectives, backgrounds, and approaches, aiming for new ideas and discoveries 💡
