Requirements:

🔹 Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Arboriculture (or equivalent), such as:
• Level 3 Diploma in Forestry & Arboriculture
• Level 3 Certificate in Arboriculture (ABC Awards, City & Guilds)
• European Tree Worker (ETW) certification
• International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist

🔹 Essential Industry Certifications (NPTC or Equivalent)
• Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-Cutting (NPTC CS30)
• Felling & Processing Small Trees (NPTC CS31)
• Climbing & Aerial Rescue (NPTC CS38)
• Aerial Cutting with a Chainsaw (NPTC CS39)
• Rigging & Dismantling (NPTC CS41) – Advantageous
• MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) – Preferred

🔹 Driving Licences:
• Category B (Essential)
• Category B+E (Advantageous)
• Category C / CE (HGV) (Highly Advantageous)

The Role & Responsibilities:

🌳 Climbing and working at height using modern arboricultural techniques

🌳 Pruning, reductions, and tree removal in urban and natural environments

🌳 Safe operation of chainsaws, chippers, and other machinery

🌳 Groundwork support, rigging, and lowering operations

🌳 Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

🌳 Working outdoors in all weather conditions – from hot summers to cold winters

🌳 Collaborating within a team to complete jobs efficiently and professionally
