So I need to split it to be able to transport it. Walnut is very hard to split. I split it along cracks that are already in the wood - that are the weakest parts of the tree. And I have great help from my dog - she is a wood expert. Sometimes it feels like the tree doesn’t want to leave its place where it stood for about 140-150 years. I feel sorry for the tree.
