Jahrhunderts. In der Folge wurden Massendemonstrationen weltweit organisiert, auch in Österreich. Wie aber kam es zur Einrichtung der brutalen Spezialeinheit SARS und Nigerias größtem Protest unter dem Hashtag ? Zu Wort kommt unter anderem der Aktivist und Musiker Seun Anikulapo Kuti, DJ Switch. Es ist mir eine Freude, als Filmemacherin gemeinsam mit unserem Moderator Simon Inou am Podium zu sein. Simon Inou ist ein renommierter Journalist und Herausgeber des Magazins „Fresh - Black Austrian Lifestyle“. Ebenfalls auf dem Podium begrüßen wir den Menschenrechtsaktivisten und Künstler Patrick Bongola und den Richter und Blogger Oliver Scheiber. In der Diskussion wollen wir über die Auswirkungen des Profiling schwarzer Menschen auf der ganzen Welt sprechen.

Das Burg Kino hat sich auf die Vorführung von Originalfassungen spezialisiert, d. h. der Film wird in englischer Sprache gezeigt. Im Zuge eines Projekts mit dem Zentrum für Translationswissenschaft der Universität Wien wurde „Voices Uprising“ mit deutschen Untertiteln und Texten ausgestattet.
Bei der anschließenden Podiumsdiskussion erfolgt eine Simultandolmetschung ins Deutsche durch Studierende.
