Our friend Adam, who also happens to work for a wholesale client, mentioned a few weeks ago that he was planning to ride 2500km in September to raise money for the Starlight Foundation to do his bit to help sick kids.

To support his efforts, we're donating all profits from retail coffee sales to Adam's campaign. We get to help a friend's efforts as well as sick children, you get some great coffee knowing that most of your payment is going to kids in need. We think it's a pretty good deal.

- RWANDA MARIE BEDABASINGWA -

All of our new coffees have now hit the website. Our first spotlight is this sensational micro-lot from Rwanda coming from Marie Bedabasingwa.

Marie is a member of the Dukunde Kawa co-op in the Ruli Sector. She has 600 red bourbon trees on her farm, which would normally be too small to be processed separately, but with the help of and our sourcing partners , they were able to separate this stunning micrlot.

Marie lost her husband in the Rwandan Genocide and with five children, she turned to coffee farming to support her family. We're pretty proud to support Marie.

This coffee makes for a beautifully clean espresso or filter with a delicate black tea body, raised tropical fruit acid and a hint of orange blossom 🌸 ❤
