New Year, new options for sellers 🧡

Please have a scroll through the new pricing options for selling! The main thing to note is that there is now a 10 day minimum booking (that’s 10 “open days”, so 2 calendar weeks). But, I’ve got you! Get an additional 5 days in store for a bargain price, and for the month of January, I’ve dropped the store commission down to 10% (previously 20%).

I’ve also added in a new option for sellers who have less than 10 items to sell 🥳

Why the changes? These options better reflect the choices most sellers are making, with more and more sellers opting for 3 weeks. The small price increase also allows me to keep posting as many items as I do on Stories 🫶

It’s my hope that by reducing the store commission % this January, sellers will pass on some of these savings to shoppers, and we can keep finding new homes for our preloved clothes, shoes and other accessories 🌏

There will be some additional selling options coming soon for my sellers who have ongoing bookings here so keep an eye out for those 🫶

Things can get a little hectic around now between Black Friday sales and braving the big shopping centres for Christmas shopping. A friendly reminder to not get sucked into over-consumption and buying clothes just because they’re cheap at this time of year.

Not all clothes will have great resale opportunity if you don’t end up wearing them, and a lot of fast fashion clothes might be cheap for you to buy but this is at huge social and environmental costs… if you do need to scratch that shopping itch remember: preloved is better than new, and if you do want to buy new, prioritise ethical brands and environmentally friendly fabrics 🧡

SUMMER TRADING HOURS UPDATE

Now that the sun is out longer, it’s time for extended summer trading hours ☀️

On Thursday and Friday evenings, the shop will stay open until it gets quiet. Maybe that’s 6.30pm, maybe it’s 8pm! It will depend on the day and how busy it is around here 🙌 I’ll update on Stories when I’m closing so you’ll always know whether to pop in or not (open until at least 6pm though).

The shop is now open on Mondays until 6pm, so you have extra time to come by on your way home from work (retail therapy, anyone?)🫶

Aaaaand… Sundays are back!!! Last summer, Sundays were sometimes rather quiet, so if you want the shop open Sundays please come by, otherwise I may go back to being shut - consider this one a bit of a trial for the next few months 🧡
