Our OT students, Zoe and Brianna, have been busy behind the scenes working on an exciting 'Regulation in Reach' project, focused on supporting therapists, parents, and educators to confidently implement sensory strategies in everyday settings.
You might see them around the clinic and they may come and say hello 👋

Here are 4 gentle ways to make turn-taking easier:
1️⃣ Ask what they need first: a few minutes to explore or play solo today?
2️⃣ Make the wait visible: sand timers or turn cards help time feel manageable.
3️⃣ Keep their hands busy: fidgets are perfect for those wiggles.
4️⃣ Start small: short games, small waits, big wins for learning patience!
