He might be leaving the store as a candle, but we're hoping to bring him back as a real perfume!

There has been so much learning going on behind the scenes!

We often get asked for perfumes and could yes, we put our skin safe candle fragrance blends into a carrier oil and call it a day, but we found that they only really last about an hour and it's *fine* buuuuttttttt we can do better.

Cue months of study and testing and realising that organic chemistry is hard af. Currently we've got a handful of BEAUTIFUL (like, it's devastating I can't get the full depth of scent from the raw fragrance chemicals in candle oil) accords and bases mixed up now that we're testing constantly. Our workshop is really an apothecary at this point.

We don't have a release for the perfume blends, they'll be ready when they're ready, but they are coming.
