A particularly touching moment recently was when one of our participants asked Lauren to accompany her to her year 12 formal. Initially she wasn’t planning to attend, feeling nervous and unsure because she didn’t know anyone in her year level. With Lauren’s encouragement and support, she found the confidence to embrace this milestone and give herself permission to enjoy the experience she truly deserved. The girls went dress shopping, got ready together, and shared an unforgettable night!

Lauren’s dedication to doing impactful work is truly inspiring. Every activity she engages in with her participants is infused with teachable skills and life lessons, demonstrating her commitment to seeing them grow, both personally and emotionally. She never shies away from tough conversations and has a knack for transforming sticky situations on the fly; ultimately creating uplifting and growth-oriented experiences for everyone she works with.
