Daylight savings is ending next weekend sadly in Adelaide over the Easter weekend. 😩

I personally hate winter, it’s fun wearing trackies and a hoodie at home for a few days then I’m done!!

So the clocks are moving back an hour on Sunday 5th April. When it is 3am clocks will go back to 2am!

I have got you covered…

🌈If you are a plan person then please follow the plan in this post. Starting next week!!

❤️ If you are a go with the flow person, then know your little one will wake earlier for a few days to a week. ❤️❤️
This is normal.

🌞How you approach that early morning wake will depend if it continues or not!! If you go in and get them up at 5am when they wake which is their normal 6am wake then this will reinforce this wake.

My suggestion… stay in there for as long as possible to let them know it is sleep time still. Knowing they will take a few days to go back to sleep!!

Try not to stress too much about all of these changes. They will adjust eventually👌

If you follow the plan then your little one will be ready for the clocks to go back!!!

Save this post so you can be prepared for next week!! Follow along for more sleep tips with Kirsty .littleone 😘 xx

One simple thing you do each day can change your little one’s whole day of sleep!

Try waking them up at the same time each day for this week and observe what happens. Pick a time that suits you and that’s realistic of course and set an alarm.

✨ You should notice it’s easier to get them to sleep for each nap.

✨ the length of the naps may change

✨ You’ll have predictability to your day, which actually gives you more flexibility.

These are just a few of the changes you’ll see just from waking your little one at the same time each morning.

Give it a go! ❤️
