DON'T WORRY I'M FINE I SWEAR - but yes I was hit by a car a few weeks ago hence I disappeared off the face of the planet for a bit.
It wasn't going super fast so was not super traumatic or anything, did break my pelvis and my sacrum, but the healing journey is going smoothly😌
Have been feeling very loved by everyone who has reached out, thanks y'all 🥹 PARTICULAR thank you to my bestie Jazz who stuck with me through the full 16 hour Emergency Department admittance 🥴 AND my very patient parents who have been driving me around while I'm getting back on my feet (literally 🤪)
Thanks for tuning in to another riveting life update, I will catch you the next time I have spoons to formulate semi-coherent sentences on the internet.

CABARET FRINGE REVIEW: SMILING THROUGH THE HUMAN ()
Grace Colsey has been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and clinical depression but that hasn’t stopped them from finding beauty in life or from creating Smiling Through the Human, a powerful and joyous show about learning to love yourself in a world that constantly insists you’re broken.
For those who share any of Colsey’s diagnoses, the show will be deeply relatable. For those who don't, it offers a rich insight into their experiences, as Colsey shares their struggles through a blend of storytelling and song.
With honesty, humor, and charisma, Colsey guides the audience through the daily challenges of neurodivergence and mental illness, and critiques the institutions that often hinder more than help. But this isn’t a pity party! Colsey acknowledges their own privileges and makes space for others, both in the show and in the performance space.
As such, this is an incredibly accessible show, offering earplugs, fidget toys, stickers to indicate your level of willingness to communicate, and a quiet area if things become too intense.
And though it indeed gets intense (especially towards the end), Colsey ends the show with two absolutely beautiful, raw songs, performed spectacularly.
Though sometimes confronting, Smiling Through the Human is ultimately a celebration of life, self and resilience. They have one final show tomorrow (Saturday, March 31st).

☕The above clips are from the Curiositeas Tea Room (.au ) which has been a home for Smiling Through the Human now two years running, and the incredible people behind this space have had to make the incredibly hard decision to not renew the lease for this truly one of a kind space.
I feel so honoured that this show got to be part of it.
I've felt connected with my audience on a level I've never gotten to experience before in this gorgeous tea house, which I think is a perfect reflection of the intimate community hidey hole that it is.
I'm devastated that it's leaving us. But they're still here until the 28th of June!!
Don't miss out on your last chances to get to experience this literal pocket haven on Rundle Street. Please for the love of gaga visit the s**t out of it.
🛋️The Relaxed Performance of Smiling Through the Human at Curiositeas is on Friday the 23rd of May
(4 days away ‼️)
and we've only got 3 tickets left. I would love to see you there to celebrate humanness with me one last time in this beautiful space.
