New mothers are often told that holding you baby will spoil them or if you feed them every time they cry they are manipulating you. It is a matter of survival, nature and nuture for baby and mother. You can not hold your new baby too much. You can not love your baby too much. You can not comfort your baby too much. You will not teach them "bad habits".
You WILL teach them that you are a safe and secure place for them to be.
I've never heard a mother regret holding or paying too much attention to her new baby.
Hold them, love them, feed them, "spoil them" 🌸
So let me hear you say it again!
