Building Houses 🏠
To extend on Kindy 2's interest in design and discovery, the children were invited to use pop sticks to trace over the lines and construct their own houses. This experience supported shape recognition, problem-solving, and fine-motor coordination, while encouraging children to discover how simple shapes can be combined to create familiar structures.

🧘‍♀️ ANIMAL YOGA 🧘‍♀️

To build on Toddler 1's interest in animals, they engaged in an Animal Yoga movement experience together.

The children used their strength and coordination to copy the different poses illustrated by the educator while naming each animal that was demonstrated.

This experience provided a valuable opportunity to discuss health and well-being, foster physical development, and strengthen relationships.

🌿 NURSERY HERB KITCHEN 🌿

To extend on Nursery 2's interest in nature, the Educators set up an outdoor herb kitchen!

The children were invited to explore a range of different herbs, including parsley, coriander, mint, and chives.

The children used their senses to interact with the herbs and used play to investigate and explore nature and their natural environment.
