On Course Projects

Last year was a big one.

Full of incredible clients, meaningful projects, and work I genuinely care about.

But if I’m honest… there were times I felt like I was chasing my tail. Constantly building. Constantly troubleshooting. Constantly “on.”

Nothing was wrong.

But something wasn’t quite right either.

Towards the end of the year, I took a step back and asked myself:

Where am I actually at my best?

Because I’m not just building a business… I’m building a life around it too. I have two kids and support commitments that matter deeply, and I want my work to fit inside that reality. Not fight against it.

And when I really looked at it, the answer was clear.

Not in the platform builds.
Not in trying to keep up with every tech update.

But in the thinking.

In helping someone take a powerful idea and turn it into something structured and focused.

In zooming out before we zoom in.

In tightening the scope and mapping a realistic path forward so they can build something intentional - and sustainable.

So that’s where I’m focusing this year.

Strategy. Clarity. Structure. Momentum.

And honestly? It feels really good.

And now I’m curious - does your business currently fit your life? Or is it fighting it?

I didn’t expect to walk away from the Tammy’s Table Jingle & Mingle with a Tammy’s Grammy… yet here we are.
And honestly? It meant more than I expected.

Tammy created her very own awards — light-hearted, a bit cheeky, and very “us.”
No applications, no judges, no submissions.
Just recognition for the people who show up, support others, and help make this community what it is.

Before the awards kicked off, Tammy said a few words about the facilitators — and hearing them felt really special:
“Our facilitators are business owners themselves, with empathy and real experience. They know our values, the heart of Tammy’s Table, and they’re genuine ambassadors of this community. We couldn’t support this many people without them.”

To be seen in that way — not just for what I do, but for how I show up — is something I don’t take lightly.

Facilitating these Tables has been one of the unexpected joys of my year.
Creating spaces where people feel welcome, supported, and included… that’s the stuff that fills my cup.
And to be recognised for it (with a tiny golden thumbs-up trophy no less 👍✨) was the loveliest surprise.

A huge thank you to Tammy for trusting me, and to every member who sits at the Table and brings their heart, their honesty, and their own unique experiences.
