Eid al-Adha Mubarak from Multicultural Aged Care.

As families and communities come together to celebrate this special occasion, we extend our warmest wishes to all who observe Eid al-Adha.

Eid al-Adha is a meaningful time for reflection, generosity, and connection. It reminds us of the importance of family, caring for one another, and sharing with those in need.

At MAC, we are proud to support and celebrate the diverse cultures, faiths, and traditions that strengthen our community.

Wishing you and your family a blessed, peaceful, and joyful Eid.

This National Palliative Care Week (10–16 May 2026), we acknowledge the importance of creating space for the big questions, honest conversations, and culturally responsive support around ageing, serious illness, dying, grief, and care.

For many people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, conversations around palliative care can be shaped by culture, faith, language, migration experiences, family roles, and differing understandings of illness, care, and decision-making.

We remain committed to supporting culturally inclusive approaches to palliative and end-of-life care through workforce development, shared learning, and community conversations.

For many people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, mothers are often the heart of family traditions — the ones who carry language, recipes, stories, faith, and cultural values across generations. 💐

They are often the quiet organisers, carers, interpreters, protectors, and storytellers who help families stay connected to both culture and community, even far from home.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and wisdom of mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and mother figures from all backgrounds — including the many older women in our communities whose experiences, sacrifices, and care continue to shape future generations.

At Multicultural Aged Care, we recognise the importance of honouring culture, identity, and belonging at every stage of ageing and care.

Wishing everyone a warm and meaningful Mother’s Day. ❤️
