.zahovic is MatLab Brown Belt who shows every quality worthy of the Rank.

He has competed across Australia in Tournaments and Superfights and has always come back m to the training room with a singular focus; Improvement, regardless of result.

That mentality has filtered through to all of his training partners and we couldn't be more proud to have him as part of our Team.

"Both Nick & Jackie took a massive gamble to open up the matlab grappling academy, putting their livelihoodon the line.
From the first open mat to any night during the week, they've created a space where you are the focus.

The Lab has dedicated classes that run themes that change monthly. This structure, with intentional focus on different areas within grappling, has given me the chance to be specific with my training & the ability to become the best grappler I can be.

This new approach to training, with more intention & a focus on specific pathways, has not only given me opportunities to become the best version of myself on the mats, but afforded me the same opportunities off the mats aswell.

The sense of community & the friendships that I've formed over the years has been as valuable to me as the training on the mats has been, if not more so."
