Buying an EV? Make sure it has an AVILOO battery test certificate. This means the battery has been tested for any defects or excessive loss of capacity.
The number one concern we get at All In Vehicle Inspections from our customers is "I'm concerned about the battery health on a used EV". So we have teamed up with Aviloo Battery Diagnostics to get you the best details about an EVs battery health in Australia.
You will get a condition report, how much is left in the battery, what that means for range, how it compares to thousands of other EV batteries of the same type, and the condition of the battery systems.
Want confidence when buying an EV, get an AVILOO Battery Test, and for higher confidence add a prepurchase EV inspection. Booking links in the comments.
So you know what isn't cheap on an old premium vehicle? The cost of repair and parts prices. You may buy the vehicle for 95% less than the original price, but the parts and repairs will not be 95% off the original price. What's worse is you will buy a the parts and Labor for full price today.
Car ads can often be misleading, either by ignorance of the vehicles condition or purposeful intent to deceive. Don't be afraid to ask questions about the vehicle, and get the vehicle inspected if you don't know the signs of heavy wear on a vehicle.
Buying cars is about trust, so here are three red flags for you when buying a vehicle.
1. Is the seller answering the questions you asked or do they sound like they are avoiding the questions.
2. Does the condition of the vehicle resemble the ad. If they don't tell the truth, what are they hiding?
3. Do a vehicle history check such as a PPSR in Australia. That tells you if the vehicle has been recorded as stolen, registered by the insurance as a write-off, or if there is finance owing.
Bonus: Get the vehicle inspected, if they don't want it inspected then is probably something wrong.
There's my red flags, let me know yours in the comments.
