Western Adelaide Flying Start Taster Program!

Please find attached and below information about our upcoming July FREE 4-week Flying Start Taster Program introducing participants to the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.


Through practical learning, career exploration, and job readiness coaching - this program provides a supported pathway into one of South Australia's most rewarding and in-demand industries. Participants will build confidence, learn about early years career pathways, refine job readiness skills, and complete the nationally accredited unit – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in and Education and Care Setting (Time Education and Training RTO 40058).

PROGRAM DETAILS
Starts: Tuesday 21 July 2026
Finishes: Thursday 13 August 2026
Runs: Tuesday – Thursday, 9:30am – 3:00pm, 3 days per week. (5 & 6 August Tuesday – Thursday, 9:00am – 5:00pm)
Location: Gowrie SA, 43 Dew Street, Thebarton
Cost: Fully funded for those who meet the eligibility criteria

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
Be 17+ years old and not attending school.
Attend an Information Session - this will provide you with advice on program content, eligibility criteria and the commitment required.
Have an interest in working in the Early Childhood Education and Carer sector.
Already hold or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check.
Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or hold a relevant visa as listed on the Skills SA Subsidised Training webpage. Please scroll to “Eligible Visa” section of this webpage to check.
