This morning Shane received a phone call from a customer asking what time he was getting to their property today. Shane was suitably puzzled as he had had a conversation via email with this customer advising that his job would be ready after the 14th Feb and we generally don't install on weekends.

After some clarifying questions it seems that this customer has had his email account hacked. The hackers have modified our quote to include different bank details and had requested the deposit. They then advised them that the blinds would be fitted today, and then last night sent them another email saying that payment in full needed to be made prior to the blinds being fitted. Fortunately the customer didn't pay and rang for clarification this morning and it was then that he realised that his email had been hacked 🤬
