🏠♻️ Engineering & House Building
Our Preschool 2 children experiment with construction using recycled cardboard boxes to design and build their own houses, exploring engineering concepts, problem-solving, and teamwork. Working together, they created floors, walls, and furniture while learning how to make structures strong and stable.
Through hands-on experiences and guided learning, children developed their understanding of construction, sustainability, and local housing styles. 🌱✨

🐞🍃 Insect Discovery and Exploration 🍃🐞
Recently, our toddlers engaged in a hands-on insect exploration experience using a tuff tray filled with colourful leaves, toy insects, and magnifying glasses. The children eagerly searched through the leaves, demonstrating curiosity and excitement as they discovered different insects hiding beneath them.

The children explored a variety of insects, including spiders, beetles, scorpions, and centipedes, while developing their observation and language skills. They enjoyed asking questions, identifying insects, matching them to pictures, and learning new names and facts alongside their educators.

Some children carefully observed and sorted the insects, while others used them in imaginative play, creating exciting stories and scenarios. Through this experience, the children strengthened their curiosity, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of the natural world! 🕷️🔍🐜✨

🌞 Outdoor Fun in the Sunshine
The warm, sunny weather made the perfect setting for a morning full of outdoor play. Children explored new resources with excitement—spinning hula hoops, shooting basketballs, and proudly counting how many goals they could score, strengthening early numeracy and gross‑motor skills.

They bounced, threw, caught, and kicked balls with friends, practising teamwork and spatial awareness as they took turns and shared equipment. Some experimented with the spinning chair, problem‑solving how to make it move, while others rolled along the bike track on the big wheel, using their whole bodies to balance and coordinate movement.

Across the yard, children built with blocks, rode scooters, and tackled the obstacle course—especially the high sliding plank, which encouraged confident risk‑taking in play. Laughter, cooperation, and joyful energy filled the space as children strengthened their social skills through shared experiences.
