🌟 Standing at a career crossroads?
We all reach moments where we ask ourselves: Where to from here?

When considering your next step, here are some lessons I’ve learnt:
1️⃣ Understand what motivates you.
Think back to a time when you woke up excited to go to work. Complete this sentence:
👉 “I loved going to work because…”

Your answer often reveals what truly energises you—whether it’s the environment, strategic challenges, working with great people, new technology, making a difference, giving back, financial rewards, leadership, or influence.

2️⃣ Know what doesn’t work for you.
Reflect on a role you disliked and be clear about why. Understanding this is just as important as knowing what you love. "I had this job and I dreaded going to work each day, I hated it because..."

3️⃣ Define your proudest achievement.
Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). For example, one of mine:
➡️ “At a 'tech company', I turned around three years of negative cashflow to profit—a 420% improvement in 18 months—through restructure, refocus, and re-engagement of the team. Clear goals led to growth in both people and reputation.”
💡 Your next step becomes clearer when you connect what drives you, what drains you, and what you’re most proud of achieving.
