🚨 BIG NEWS FOR JUNIOR SOFTBALL IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA! 🚨

The Softball SA Board has made a landmark decision that will help shape the future of junior softball across our state.

🏆 Junior Championships will now be held permanently on the October Long Weekend, beginning this year in Adelaide from 3–5 October 2026.

This change has been made with players, families, associations, and volunteers in mind, creating a more accessible, affordable, and exciting championship experience for everyone involved.

Applications open 15 June 2026 and close 28 June 2026.

🏆 SOUTH AUSTRALIA U23 MEN'S HEAD COACH APPOINTMENT 🏆

Softball SA is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Weatherstone as the South Australian Under 23 Men's Head Coach for the 2027 National Championships.

Anthony brings a wealth of coaching experience across both men's and women's softball, with a proven ability to develop athletes, build strong team cultures, and deliver results at a high-performance level. His strategic approach to the game, combined with his strong analytical mindset, will provide significant value to this talented group of young South Australian athletes.

This appointment represents an outstanding outcome for our U23 Men's program, and Softball SA is excited about the expertise, leadership, and vision Anthony will bring as the team prepares for the National Championships in January 2027.

We congratulate Anthony on his appointment and look forward to supporting him and the squad on their journey to represent South Australia with pride.
