The AHT Group team had a blast at the recent NECA SA/NT Industry Gala Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

It was made even better when our apprentice Bradley Sibbons took out the highly competitive Commercial/Domestic Apprentice of the Year Award! Congratulations again Bradley, we are so proud of all your efforts!

AHT Group were also a finalist in the Commercial - Small Category for our work on the St Andrew’s West - Genesis Care & Jones Radiology Fitouts. This was a challenging project with a successful outcome and we are extremely proud of the work that all our divisions came together to complete.

Thank you to NECA SA/NT for hosting such a wonderful event that celebrates the industry's successes. We are already looking forward to the next one!

We are still celebrating the incredible successes of our apprentices at the recent NECA SA/NT Industry Gala Dinner in the NECA Apprentice of the Year Awards!

Huge congratulations to Bradley Sibbons for taking out the win in the highly competitive Commercial/Domestic category, so very well deserved! Bradley is charitable, humble, motivated, and an enthusiastic team player. Not only is he a member of our Safety committee but he is also a volunteer for his family's charity, Nevus Support Australia, who provides support for families whose children have received diagnosis of a birth defect called Congenital Melanocytic Nevus.

Our amazing apprentices Kane Catford, Lachlan Sharp and Ethan McGeorge were named Finalists in the Apprentice of the Year Awards too, and we couldn't be more proud!

At AHT Group we pride ourselves on investing time and effort into the future of our workforce through our apprentices. We are grateful to have such dedicated and motivated apprentices as part of our team.

In the lead up to the NECA SA/NT Apprentice Awards held at the Adelaide Convention Centre later this month, we thought we would take the opportunity to highlight some of the Apprentices we have nominated over the years that are still with us today.

In 2016 Jakeb Solley, who is now our Business Development Manager, won the NECA SA/NT Communications Apprentice of the Year Award and then went on to win the NECA National Communications Apprentice of the Year Award later that year!

NECA has led the electrotechnology industry’s Apprentice Awards for over three decades and continues to work to achieve an ever increasing level of awareness and respect for electrical and communications apprentices and their employers.

NECA recognises the essential role apprentices play in the future of our industry. The NECA Apprentice Awards showcase the outstanding contribution an apprentice can make to the projects they work on and to their employer’s business.

We are looking forward to bringing you more NECA Apprentice Awards highlights over the coming month as we lead up to the NECA Industry Gala Dinner celebration on Friday 30 August.

AHT Group were proud to be involved in the recent VR Distribution relocation project in Camden Park.

After outgrowing their old facility, the company decided to build a new purpose-built facility comprising of a 7,500m2 distribution warehouse and office.

Our scope included Access Control and Security whereby we presented an Enterprise level ICT Protégé GX System and NX Witness Solution to the client. VR Distribution pride themselves on offering an extensive range to retailers for a one-stop-shop of all the key products in the gaming category. It was important to them to have an easy-to-use but robust security and access control system for their new world class distribution warehouse and office space.

AHT were honoured to have played a part in enhancing the security, access control and ease of use for their facilities.
