Last week:
• 115 properties were taken to auction
• 56 sold under the hammer
• 18 sold prior
• 3 sold post-auction
• Resulting in a 71% clearance rate

This level of activity reflects strong buyer demand and a competitive environment — a trend we’ve been observing consistently across the city.

Will Rates Drop This Week?

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) meets this Monday and Tuesday to review the cash rate for the first time since the federal election.

The current rate is set at 4.10% which is the lowest it’s been since October 2023.

Here’s what the big four banks are forecasting:

ANZ: -0.25%
CBA: -0.25%
NAB: -0.50%
Westpac: -0.25%

The RBA’s decision will be announced at 2:30pm AEST on Tuesday.

If a cut is made, it’s up to your lender to decide whether they’ll pass it on to you.

We’ll be watching closely—stay tuned.
