Since 1998, $44 million has been donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to fund vital breast cancer research.

Thanks to research, the relative five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 84 per cent to 92 per cent over this period. However, there’s still more to be done to achieve the goal of zero deaths from breast cancer.

Help us keep fighting against breast cancer by donating to the link below or signing up to participate in this year’s Mother’s Day Classic 🩷

FiDo (First-In-Dog) Cure Cancer Initiative is a unique cross-disciplinary collaboration at the The University of Adelaide to establish companion dogs as a valuable model for better understanding breast cancer. Companion dogs with spontaneously occurring breast cancer will be recruited by engaging with veterinarians, canine patients and their owners to undertake a pilot study investigating androgen agonist and/or estrogen antagonist therapy as an effective breast cancer treatment for dogs, providing valuable preclinical data leading to human clinical trials.
