Looking for the perfect afternoon? We have just the ticket! Draw Your (S)words is just around the corner. A night of spoken word, connection and a community we are so fond of.

Looking for to something different to do? Come along, soak up beautiful stories in an atmosphere that can only be found at DYS.

We are so lucky to be showcasing some brilliant local talent. Featuring profound poet TJ and sounds from to set the tone in this beautiful backdrop.

This May we are excited to announce we are bringing you something a little special on the side of your fave spoken word night.
Join us at on Kaurna Yarta for a creative writing workshop facilitated by the DYS team with fun prompts and activities to get those juices flowing, followed directly by DY(S).

All who attend the workshop nab themselves free entry to the event and a spot on the open mic (if you wish to share).

This is the reminder you need to lock in your tix for the second to last Draw Your (S)words event for the year. Featuring and we honestly couldn’t dream up this lineup!

Is there a better way to spend your humpday than to refresh midweek with poetry? There will be euphoric tones, deeply moving stories and maybe a little treat from
tix available in our bio.

FEATURE ALERT ‼️

On the 5th of Nov we welcome the incredible feature poet Sin A.D. AKA

If your ears are yet to hear their poetry, then you my friends, are in for an absolute treat.
Sin (they/them) is a Lebanese emerging poet in diaspora, currently residing on Kaurna Yarta.
Their work primarily focuses on cultural ties, resistance, Arab grief and spirituality, as well as themes regarding beauty, Q***rness, and neurodivergence.
