Earlier this year we held the expression of interest (EOI) phase of our Discovery Grants application process for 2026. We are excited to share our breakdown of the themes and insights we noticed across the 76 EOIs we received, including the types of ideas, community groups, sectors and locations that submissions represented.
If you would like to learn more about Discovery Grants and the application process, read our News and Insights article on our website here: https://www.fayfullerfoundation.com.au/news/discovery-grants-2026-expression-of-interest-insights
Our deepest thanks to everyone who shared their ideas and aspirations with us this round.

Our Strategy for 2026 - 2033 sets our intentions for the next seven years, partnering with community for long-term wellbeing.
We know that lasting change does not come from quick fixes. It comes from sustained relationships, shared power and a collective commitment to building the conditions that allow communities to thrive, now and for generations to come.
That is the journey we are committed to over the next seven years.

Sharing about our journey with Nik&Co E-Learning Hub!
This Reconciliation Week and every week we recognise that continuous learning is part the journey towards reconciliation. In particular, there is a responsibility that sits with non-Indigenous people and organisations to deepen their understanding of history and recognising the way in which long-held policies and systems continue to create inequitable outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This comes with embracing discomfort and leaning in - to enact vital processes of truth-telling and create lasting systemic change.
Recently, the Foundation subscribed to the newly created Nik&Co E-Learning Hub. Grounded in a learning and education approach to changemaking, the platform is made up of a series of short courses on topics ranging from colonisation and racism in Australia to allyship in action and reconciliation. As individuals, and as a team, we have been immersed in exploring these courses as a pathway for continued learning and reflection.
Just as we recognise the importance of learning, we also recognise that this sits alongside listening, showing up, challenging inequitable systems, and walking together. We thank Nik&Co. Consultancy for their work in building a space where individuals and organisations can ground these actions in knowledge.
