Turns out 2 years of being an overnight milk bar has some consequences 😅

I did my preconception bloods a couple of months ago to see where my health is at and whether my body is ready for baby #2 and, unsurprisingly, my oestrogen came back low.

A lot of women aren’t told breastfeeding hormones can actually leave you feeling anxious, foggy, flat and touched out. Sometimes postpartum can feel suspiciously similar to perimenopause.

So when I get home from our Europe holiday, I’ll be beginning the night-wean saga (again 😅). But in the meantime, maca and the European sun have been my absolute saving grace.

Silent endo is a very real and common driver for unexplained infertility.

Most people assume that endo only presents with pain, but it’s absolutely not always the case and in the years I have practiced as a naturopath, I have seen way too many women struggling to fall pregnant.. because they have with silent endo that no one has considered or investigated.

Beneath the surface, endometriosis creates an inflammatory environment in the pelvis.

And that inflammation can disrupt egg quality, impair ovulation, affect s***m function, reduce implantation, and alter the immune signalling needed to sustain pregnancy.

You can have cysts, inflammation, or partially blocked fallopian tubes all contributing to infertility or miscarriage without even knowing it.
