Good Access. Great Adventures. #goodscout

We are a community of travellers, on the hunt for the best accessible adventures across Australia. We provide a platform to help travellers EXPLORE and the industry to DO SOME GOOD. We are focused on education and community-building around accessible tourism.

Husband and wife, Scott (a wheelchair user) and Clair Crowley founded Push Adventures in 2014. Having travelled extensively both for competitive sport and as a family, they have seen first hand how a lack of information can stop people with access needs from traveling.

Our key initiatives driving impact within the travel space are:

THE GOOD SCOUT

The lack of information in the tourism industry around accessible facilities and services, prompted the launch of The Good Scout. An accessible travel planning platform taking the guesswork, worry and hesitation out of accessible travel planning by providing all the detailed information a wheelchair traveller and their travel companions will ever need.

DOING GOOD

We want people with access needs to participate in as many tourism activities as possible. That’s why 10% of all listing fees from The Good Scout, contributes to the provision of adaptive equipment where necessary and directly funds travel experiences for those who can’t fund them themselves! The businesses listed on our site care about tourism for all.

GOOD EDUCATION

Accessible Tourism is now a major market sector. We work directly with the industry to help them understand what it means to be accessible.

So, to the explorers, the seekers and the adventurers, the wheelchair travellers and their families who want to squeeze the most out of every moment WELCOME!
