Our Story

Introducing Christine Holowiecki:

Christine’s first foray into the property world occurred in her childhood. Watching and learning from her Dad, a carpenter and joiner by trade, Christine was young when she first picked up the tools. Christine has spent years alongside Michael, buying and renovating homes in pursuit of a personal portfolio. Adelaide born and bred, Christine has an intimate knowledge of Adelaide’s eclectic real estate offering and has lived in a number of suburbs herself; Sheidow Park, Clarence Gardens, Woodcroft, Happy Valley, Glanville and Ashford among others.

To this invaluable life experience Christine adds a Bachelor of International Business (Marketing), a Diploma in Property Services (Agency Management), and a Certificate IV in Property Services (Property). She has a proven track record, having excelled during her employment with a leading Adelaide Real Estate agency. She calls some of the best in the industry, including John McGrath, Glenn Twiddle, Tom Panos and Josh Phegan, her instructors and inspiration. Passionate about personalised service, Christine’s move to her own boutique agency was a natural fit.

Christine also holds an Industry Certificate in Festival Design and Event Management and her creative energy has seen her heating up dance floors in Competitive Ballroom and Latin Dancing since the age of 5. When she is not hard at work you will find her instructing her own Zumba classes, enjoying food and wine with friends, decorating a cake or spending time with her two beautiful little girls and her two fur kids (a Rottweiler and Maltese x Shih Tzu).

In engaging Christine you will find someone who is practical, innovative, and understanding. Astute negotiating and the latest in marketing technology meet with sincerity and affability as the hallmarks of Christine’s service. She brings energy, hard work and an eye for refinement to all of her real estate transactions. It is a matter of personal integrity to Christine that she tenaciously protects the interests of her clients every step of the way, and this means that Keeping It Realty reliably delivers greater than expected outcomes.

Introducing Michael Holowiecki:

Michael partners with wife Christine as co-founder of Keeping It Realty. A qualified Engineer with years of career experience in Project Management, Michael is perfectly positioned to head up the Property Management Division within the company. Michael holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), a Diploma in Property Services (Agency Management), a Certificate IV in Building and Construction and a Certificate IV in Property Services (Property). Highly qualified to guide clients through the management of what is often their largest and most valuable asset, Michael offers a depth of building and technical knowledge that is not easily found elsewhere. His engineering prowess allows him to foresee and proactively address building and property issues so that many potential problems are avoided. Along with his team, Michael rigorously inspects and maintains properties, communicating with clients every step of the way.

Michael’s interest in property is personal as well as professional, having spent 15 years prior to becoming an agent renovating and developing property with Christine for their own personal portfolio. Michael is the designer and craftsman behind the property that he and Christine and their two little girls call home. Michael’s patience, eye for detail, appetite for a challenge and aptitude for team work are further expressed through his varied personal pursuits which include skiing, photography, dragon boat racing and fishing.

Clients feel reassured by Michael’s professional acumen and stringent high standards, which he will bring to bear on behalf of his clients in every transaction. You will find in Michael someone who inspires confidence through his sincerity and meticulous manner of working. Michael is also an entertaining character and clients cannot avoid being treated to a storehouse of witty one liners, which are characteristic of Michael’s dry and irrepressible sense of humour.
